Immerse yourself in the pristine, gin-clear saltwater flats of Florida's Nature Coast, renowned for their abundant scallop population. The warm Florida sun ensures the water temperature is always comfortable for snorkeling. But scalloping isn't the only spectacle - our tours offer a chance to witness a diverse array of marine life. From manatees, dolphins, turtles to pelicans, sea gulls, bald eagles, and ospreys, you'll be surrounded by nature's splendor.
Scalloping season typically begins on July 1, marking the start of a favorite activity along the Nature Coast. Snorkeling for scallops is as simple as hunting for Easter eggs underwater. All you need is a mask, fins, snorkel, and mesh bag - all provided by us. Simply swim at the water's surface, spot the scallops in the grass beds below, dive down, and collect your treasure. Each person is allowed up to 2 gallons of whole scallops in the shell, or up to 10 gallons per vessel, whichever is less. The best part? Your efforts are rewarded with a delicious scallop dinner.

Fishing with Captain Shawn Walker
We were part of a fishing weekend event called Nuts and Bolts of fishing with Cefus McRae. Our first day of our outing in Crystal River in Florida was with Captain Shawn Walker. Shawn was so knowledgeable about the hiding places of red fish, snook, and sea trout. He taught us throughout the day about the tides, rivers life, manatees etc. He celebrated right along with us as we caught fish after fish. He even took pictures with us and for us. What a kind, accomplished Captain. We felt safe and trusted that we would come back with fish. And we did! He is a family man who we will surely look up on our next trip to Crystal River. Thank you Shawn for wonderful memory filled weekend.

Had an amazing day of scalloping and fishing with Captain Shawn! He took our group of four to a few different spots to scallop. We all had a great time scalloping and then we spent the second part of the day fishing. We caught Spanish mackerel, trout, mangrove snapper and more! Awesome day on the water!
